Canteen

Our wonderful canteen is open for full service on Mondays and Fridays, and over the counter service on Thursdays (for snacks, drinks and frozen items). The children can place recess and lunch orders and also purchase items over the counter during recess and lunchtimes.

The menu is governed by the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy and includes a variety of food options for your child to enjoy. ALL Canteen orders are purchased via Flexischools – Refer to the Flexischools tab on how to register your child/ren with an account.

The cut-off time for ordering canteen recess & lunch orders is 9:30am on Mondays and Fridays. No cancellations or adjustments can be made to orders after this time.

You can schedule lunch orders in advance however if your child is sick/away please remember to cancel your order on Flexischools by 9:30am on the day. If you have missed the cut-off, you are welcome to come collect the lunch order on behalf of your child from the school canteen on the day.

Want to volunteer?

The Canteen is run by a Canteen Manager, alongside a team of dedicated parent/carer volunteers. The volunteer schedule is maintained via a Sign-Up link that will be available in the school Bulletin and in a WhatsApp group chat. Each week the shifts need to be filled by parents/carers from a nominated class. If you can fill a shift and support the canteen we would really appreciate it, we cannot keep our prices low and the canteen running without your amazing help. To say thank you for volunteering in the canteen your child/children will receive $2 in “Glenorie Bucks” for them to spend in the canteen. These are presented at assembly fortnightly on Friday afternoons.
